Keep Your Treasures Timeless
Your exquisite outfit from Veera Products is a piece of art, handcrafted with love and delicate materials. To ensure it stays as stunning as the day you first wore it, please follow these care guidelines:
Heavy Suits & Dupattas: Never hand-wash or machine-wash bridal veils, heavy suits, or silk sarees. The chemicals in detergents can tarnish the gold/silver Zari and loosen the stone-work. Always opt for a reputed professional dry cleaner.
Velvet & Silk: These fabrics lose their sheen if they come into contact with water.
Avoid Hangers: Heavy dupattas and lehengas should never be hung on hangers for long periods; the weight can stretch the fabric and tear the delicate net.
The Muslin Wrap: Wrap your heavy outfits in a clean, white muslin or cotton cloth. This allows the fabric to breathe while protecting it from moisture and dust.
Dark & Dry: Store your wedding wear in a cool, dark place. Direct sunlight can fade the vibrant reds and maroons over time.
No Direct Heat: Never place a hot iron directly on embroidery or silk.
The Barrier Method: If you must iron at home, use the lowest silk setting and place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and your outfit.
Steaming: A handheld steamer is the safest way to remove wrinkles from net veils and organza.
Perfume First: Apply your perfume and hairspray before putting on your jewelry and outfit. The alcohol in perfumes can permanently discolor metallic threads (Zari).
Refolding: Every few months, take your heavy sarees and dupattas out, air them for an hour in the shade, and refold them along different lines to prevent permanent creases or "cutting" at the folds.
